MID stands for Maintenance in Dredging The MID work group is a joint initiative of dredgers and suppliers in the dredging industry.
The MID platform focuses on the development and professionalisation of management and maintenance of dredging material, in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency. In doing so, the work group strengthens the dredging industry by sharing innovative knowledge, insights and developments in the sector.

Our goal is facilitating the exchange of knowledge between dredging companies and their suppliers in the area of maintenance and outsourcing of maintenance. Central to this is maintenance as a chain of processes and relationships.
As MID work group, we organise debate sessions for our members and also invite members of NVDO and CEDA to take part. Our members are actively involved with the topics being discussed at these sessions. For example, we encourage standardisation of resources and methods in the industry, and discuss subjects such as outsourcing and offshoring.

The MID board convenes a meeting multiple times each year to reinforce the common interests of our members, ranging from experts in the field of maintenance to people who work with the equipment. It's an ideal way of sharing knowledge and expanding your network.
